E-Learning
The World Class Skills (WCS) e-learning modules have arrived
For those of you who would like to get involved in the WCS programme but perhaps can’t take a full day out from your work commitments to go to one of our in-depth workshops or seminars – or you physically can’t get to one for whatever reason – the all new WCS e-learning modules could be the solution for you.
Designed to be accessible from work or home, these modules provide a top-line overview of the key focus points of the module topic. They also serve as a refresher of a particular subject which you can revisit as often as you would like to.
The e-learning modules, each of which take less than an hour to complete, will take you through interactive and engaging scenarios, providing you with feedback on the responses you submit as you go along.

The e-Learning modules
1 Building employer-responsive skills in your organisation
This module helps providers understand the essential skills and behaviours required when working with employers. It also explores how job descriptions can be updated to look for essential and key skills, how key skills can be embedded into an organisation as well as how a competency framework can underpin all of these activities.
2 Funding and finance for maximising business
The purpose of this module is to provide learners with a better understanding of funding and finance and how they can make their own organisation more commercially viable through income-generation opportunities.
3 Identifying bottom line benefits for business training
This module aims to show how both businesses and providers can gain by identifying the benefits to their bottom line performance that training generates. This module also offers providers a practical approach to the identification of the measurable benefits of training.
4 Sales and how to gain repeat business from employers
This module is for every one working in training provider organisations looking to build long-term relationships with their employer customers and is developed around practical ways of doing that.
5 Targeting small, micro and medium-sized enterprises for training
The purpose of this module is to help providers develop a stronger understanding of the key challenges and opportunities they face in working with SMEs.
